POLICE was introduced to Europe as a product based on a depiction of an 'aggressive urban' American lifestyle in the beginning of the eighties. Since 1999, Bruce Willis and David Beckman have served as the spokespersons for POLICE glasses, a role recently taken over by Antonio Banderas.
Police successfully interprets the functional needs of an essential item with creative, high-impact solutions. Decisive lines, underscored by streamlined temples and shaded colours, distinguish the acetate models, while lightweight frames and delicate shapes sculpt the titanium models. The clever interplay of allusions on the end-pieces, taking up the motifs of the front pieces, is offset by the contrasting temples. The colours are the trendiest ones, like red, burgundy, brown, gray as well as timeless black.
